The venue has calm rooms, helpful staff and location is great. The hotel was near a tube station. Real basilica de san francisco el grande was just a walk down to...

Very central location, breakfasts with very good selection.
Mattresses worn out, rooms are very badly soundproofed, reception staff sometimes unfriendly, complaints were ignored.

We liked the proximity to the metro and the short walk into the city
The breakfast didn't have much choice.

The overall impression was very good, friendly and helpful staff, from the reception to the bar and breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and extensive. The location is very good, central to all sightseeings whether by metro or on foot. Our room was big and very quiet.
There was no criticism.

There's a lot of noise from the lobby that spills into the room late at night!!! The WiFi could use an upgrade for better reliability!!!

The room was clean, hotel is near metro.
Room was beside lift shaft so quite noisy, noise from corridors, room was small, tv did not work properly, there were no English language channels,no coffee or tea facilities, the reception staff were not very friendly, indifferent at best. Overall ok for a night but nothing special and I wouldn't stay here again.

The location is excellent, just a
Short walk from key attractions. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety. We faced some noise issues due to a nearby nightclub on the weekend, hard to sleep.

Car parking underground hotel was very convenient if a bit expensive. Good beds. Plenty of pillows. Good shower. One friendly female Spanish receptionist. Near Metro.
Room overlooking street very noisy although quiet one requested. When asked for a change, receptionist simply handed me a key with no comment and when I asked for help to transfer with baggage (I am well over 60 ) was told very rudely they did not provide that service as they were only 3 star.No tourist information available anywhere in the hotel except tickets for sale for some events. No local information provided in room or lobby or information about hotel services. Scruffy neighbourhood. Vomit on street outside for days. Run down locality but restaurants in Latina very expensive for what they offered. We are very experienced travellers, have stayed in Madrid many times but never in this area and would not do so again

A simple, tastefully decorated hotel. They gave us a double bed on a higher floor like I requested. The bar downstairs served a good, inexpensive breakfast (not the buffet in the dining room). The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the Puerta de Toledo metro station, and also walkable to all the major sights in Madrid, so excellent location. Good water pressure in the shower, soundproofed windows, two free bottles of water, and ok wi-fi connection made the stay quite comfortable.
The air conditioner was too strong - we were shivering all night despite turning it to the lowest setting, and it was too hot to go without it. Also, as with many hotels, the blanket looked/smelled like it had been well used and little washed. The bathroom was mostly comfortable, but an iffy smell came from the pipes. Nothing too serious, and I'd stay here again.

We arrived very early after flying all night from new york, our room was available at 8:30 am. We were expecting to stash our bags for several hours until the room became available but were pleasantly surprised to have the opportunity to drop our bags, take a shower and get ready to explore the city. The staff were extremely friendly.

Totally recommend for a brief stopover
Spacious room, comfortable bathroom, with a well-maintained air conditioning system and a fantastic rooftop area with a jacuzzi that offers a great view of the city.
